Global Forum of People’s Organizations on Hansen’s Disease had been held in Manila, Philippines in September 2019 prior to the 20th International Leprosy Congress. Representatives of 23 organizations from 18 countries gathered for the event. The recommendations made by the participants of the Forum were declared to global academics, scientists, researchers, health staff and partners during the opening session of the International Leprosy Congress (ILC).
