The F.A.P.A. Ishidate Award

The F.A.P.A. Ishidate Award was established in 1986 with a gift to the Foundation from the late Morizo Ishidate, the Foundation’s first Chairman, to honour pharmacists and others who have contributed to public health and medicine through pharmaceutical practice, research and education to improve public health in Asia.

The award ceremony takes place at the opening ceremony of the biennial congress of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations, where medals and additional prizes are presented; 87 people have received the award so far in 2018.
