Grant for Research Activities

Medical, nursing and long-term care needs in Japan are changing with the aging population and declining birthrate. This grant supports innovative research and practical surveys on the shift from a hospital treatment-oriented system to a more comprehensive medical support system based on the idea of community health.

Sasakawa Mirai Juku

Under the mission of “Better health and dignity for all”, Sasakawa Health Foundation has been organizing training programs, seminars, and other initiatives in Japan and abroad to foster individuals who can contribute globally in the fields of health and medicine.  As part of these efforts, the “Sasakawa Mirai Juku” was launched in 2023 to provide young people studying health and medical fields across Japan with opportunities to broaden their perspectives and gain new insights through lectures and field visits.
