Participants Wanted! Social Media Photo/Video Contest on Theme of “Work”

Every year, Sasakawa Leprosy (Hansen’s Disease) Initiative organizes a Global Appeal to End Stigma and Discrimination against Persons Affected by Leprosy in conjunction with World Leprosy Day/World Hansen’s Disease Day. In 2021, the appeal is being endorsed by the International Trade Union Confederation and focuses on the right to work.

As a side event of Global Appeal 2021, we are organizing a photo and short video contest on the theme of “Work.” Please post your images/videos on your individual or organization’s social media accounts in the run-up to World Leprosy Day/World Hansen’s Disease Day.

Let’s join in sending a message to the world about the right of persons affected by Hansen’s disease and their families to work.
